This is the GAP Bolt Chassis, Multicam Finish.

Multicam is our most general-purpose finish for the GAP bolt action chassis, a pattern built to work reasonably well across a range of terrain rather than being optimised for one specific environment the way Tiger Stripe or Ridgeback are. It is the finish to pick when you are not committing to one particular setting.

What you’re actually buying underneath the pattern

Every finish sits on the identical chassis: an aluminium body that beds the action rigidly enough to keep returning to the same point of impact, and a modular forend and grip interface that fits the rifle to you rather than the reverse. The pattern changes nothing structural.

Fitment to check first

Confirm the inlet suits your action, your barrel contour clears the forend (heavy contours need a forend cut for them), and your magazine is supported. Grips and stocks are broadly interchangeable across common patterns, which is where most people do their ergonomic fine-tuning.

The chassis tradeoff, restated

Heavier than a synthetic stock, which steadies the rifle on a bipod and adds up on a long walk. In exchange, a rifle built from swappable parts, forend, grip and stock, rather than one fixed piece.
